Last updated: 1 September 2026

1. About AI AZ TRUST EUROPE

AI AZ TRUST EUROPE is a brand operated by the sole proprietorship of Zoi Anastasopoulou, registered in Greece under G.E.MI. No. 172461553000, with its business establishment in Trikala, Greece.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the AI AZ TRUST EUROPE website, software platform and related services.

References in these Terms to "AI AZ TRUST EUROPE", "we", "us" or "our" refer to Zoi Anastasopoulou operating AI AZ TRUST EUROPE. References to "you", "your", "customer" or "user" refer, as applicable, to the individual or organization accessing or using the services.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, accessing the platform, using the services or otherwise engaging AI AZ TRUST EUROPE to provide services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you use the services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of that organization in connection with the services.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the platform or services.

3. Scope of the services

AI AZ TRUST EUROPE provides software-assisted services and tools intended to support AI governance, AI system inventory, regulatory readiness, compliance assessment, risk and governance workflows, documentation management, evidence management and human review activities.

Depending on the service used, the platform may allow users to register AI systems, complete assessments, provide answers and supporting information, upload documentation and evidence, review assessment outputs and manage governance-related information.

The precise features available may depend on the service, engagement, account configuration or stage of development of the platform.

4. Compliance support, not official certification

AI AZ TRUST EUROPE provides compliance readiness, governance and assessment support. Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, AI AZ TRUST EUROPE is not acting as a notified body, conformity assessment body, regulator, supervisory authority or official certification authority.

An assessment, report, readiness result, recommendation, output or review generated or provided through AI AZ TRUST EUROPE does not constitute an official certification, regulatory approval or conformity certificate.

Use of the platform or services does not by itself guarantee compliance with the EU AI Act, the GDPR or any other law, regulation, standard or regulatory obligation.

Regulatory compliance depends on the customer's particular circumstances, systems, role, activities, implementation measures and applicable legal requirements.

5. No substitute for legal or other professional advice

Information, assessments, reports, workflows, summaries, guidance and other outputs provided through the services are intended to support governance, readiness and compliance work.

They should not be treated as a substitute for legal advice or other regulated professional advice where such advice is required.

Customers remain responsible for obtaining independent legal, technical, cybersecurity, data protection or other professional advice where appropriate to their circumstances.

6. User accounts

Certain services require a registered user account. Information provided when creating or maintaining an account must be accurate and kept reasonably up to date.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for activity carried out through their accounts, except to the extent that such activity results from circumstances for which the user is not responsible.

Users must not share credentials in a manner that permits unauthorized persons to access the platform.

We may require email verification or other reasonable account-security measures before permitting access to particular platform functionality.

7. Organizations, memberships and access rights

Platform access may be associated with an organization and with a particular membership or user role within that organization.

Users must only access information, AI systems, assessments, documents and other resources that they are authorized to access.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that access granted to their personnel, representatives or other authorized users is appropriate for their roles and responsibilities.

8. Customer responsibilities

Customers and users are responsible for the information they submit to the platform and for their use of the services.

In particular, customers and users are responsible for:

  • providing information that is reasonably accurate, complete and current;
  • ensuring that persons using the service on their behalf are appropriately authorized;
  • determining which legal, regulatory or contractual requirements apply to their organization and AI systems;
  • reviewing assessment results, recommendations and generated outputs before relying on them;
  • implementing any organizational, technical, legal or operational measures necessary for compliance;
  • maintaining appropriate internal records and evidence; and
  • using the services in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.

9. Accuracy and completeness of customer information

Assessments, reports, readiness indicators, summaries and other outputs may depend on information supplied by users.

If information provided through the platform is incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or misleading, resulting outputs may also be incomplete or inaccurate.

AI AZ TRUST EUROPE is not responsible for errors in outputs to the extent that they result from materially inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information supplied by a customer or user.

10. Automated assessment outputs and human review

The platform may automatically evaluate information supplied by users against configured assessment logic, questions or rules in order to generate readiness, compliance or governance-related outputs.

Such outputs may include assessment results, summaries, reasons, indicators or identified issues.

Automated outputs are intended as decision-support and compliance-support tools. They should be reviewed in the context of the relevant AI system, organization and applicable requirements.

The platform may also support human review of assessment information, evidence and automated outputs.

11. Uploaded documents and evidence

The platform may allow authorized users to upload documents and evidence relating to AI governance, assessment and compliance activities.

Such materials may include policies, technical documentation, risk assessments, data protection impact assessments, testing reports, human oversight documentation, supplier contracts, certifications and other supporting materials.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights, authority and lawful basis to upload, store and use materials submitted through the platform.

Customers should apply appropriate data minimisation and should avoid uploading unnecessary personal data, special category data, confidential information or other sensitive information that is not required for the relevant governance, assessment or compliance purpose.

12. Confidential and sensitive customer information

Information submitted through the platform may include confidential business, technical, governance or compliance information.

We will use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to restrict access to customer information to persons who are authorized to access it for legitimate service, operational, security, support or legal purposes.

Customers remain responsible for determining whether particular information is appropriate to submit through the service and for applying their own internal confidentiality and information-security requirements.

13. Personal data

Personal data processed in connection with the website, platform and services is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Where a customer provides personal data concerning other individuals, the customer is responsible for ensuring that such data is provided lawfully and that any required notices, permissions, authorizations or legal bases are in place.

Depending on the nature of a customer engagement and the personal data involved, additional data protection terms or a data processing agreement may be appropriate.

14. Permitted use

You may use the services only for lawful business, governance, assessment, compliance and related purposes consistent with the intended functionality of the service.

You must not:

  • use the service in violation of applicable law;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account, organization, documents or data;
  • interfere with or attempt to disrupt the security, integrity or operation of the website or platform;
  • introduce malicious code or knowingly harmful content;
  • attempt to bypass authentication, authorization or access-control mechanisms;
  • use the service to unlawfully obtain, process or disclose personal, confidential or proprietary information; or
  • represent an AI AZ TRUST EUROPE assessment or output as an official regulatory approval or certification where it is not one.

15. Intellectual property

The AI AZ TRUST EUROPE platform, website, software, structure, original content, assessment frameworks, workflows, branding and related materials may be protected by intellectual property and other applicable rights.

Except where expressly permitted, use of the services does not transfer ownership of AI AZ TRUST EUROPE intellectual property to the customer or user.

Customers retain their rights in information, documents and other materials they lawfully submit to the platform.

Customers grant us the limited rights reasonably necessary to host, process, display, transmit and otherwise handle submitted materials for the purpose of providing, maintaining, securing and supporting the services.

16. Service availability and changes

We aim to maintain the availability and reliability of the website and platform, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.

Access may occasionally be interrupted or limited because of maintenance, updates, technical failures, security events, infrastructure issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may modify, update, replace or discontinue particular features where reasonably necessary for technical, security, legal, regulatory or operational reasons.

Where a material change significantly affects an existing customer relationship, we will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate information where required.

17. Fees and payment

Certain AI AZ TRUST EUROPE services may be provided for a fee.

Where a paid service is requested, the applicable price, scope and payment terms will be those communicated or agreed in connection with the relevant service, order, proposal, engagement or other applicable commercial arrangement.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, publication of general pricing information on the website does not alter any separately agreed commercial terms.

18. Suspension and termination

A user may stop using the services at any time, subject to any applicable contractual or payment obligations arising from a separate engagement.

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address:

  • a material breach of these Terms;
  • unauthorized or unlawful use;
  • security risks or suspected compromise;
  • risks to other users, customers or the platform;
  • legal or regulatory requirements; or
  • other circumstances in which continued access would create a material operational or legal risk.

Where reasonably possible and appropriate, we will seek to provide notice before suspension or termination, unless immediate action is required for security, legal or other serious reasons.

19. Customer data following termination

The handling and retention of personal data following account closure or termination will be governed by our Privacy Policy, applicable law and any applicable contractual arrangements.

Customers are responsible for maintaining copies of information or documentation that they are legally or operationally required to retain.

20. Third-party services and infrastructure

The operation of the website and platform may depend on third-party infrastructure or service providers, including hosting, server, networking and email services.

Availability or performance may therefore occasionally be affected by systems or services that are outside our direct control.

Where third parties process personal data on our behalf, their involvement is subject to applicable data protection requirements.

21. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website, platform and services are provided without any guarantee that every feature or output will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for every individual regulatory, legal, technical or business circumstance.

Compliance frameworks and legal requirements may change, and the relevance or accuracy of an assessment may depend on the date of assessment, the information provided and the specific circumstances of the customer.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, obligation or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

22. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AI AZ TRUST EUROPE will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising solely from use of or reliance on the services, including loss resulting from decisions made without appropriate review of assessment outputs or customer-supplied information.

AI AZ TRUST EUROPE is not responsible for regulatory, contractual or business outcomes that depend on matters outside our reasonable control, including customer implementation decisions, inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by users, actions of third parties or changes in applicable law or regulatory interpretation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

23. Indemnity for unlawful customer use

To the extent permitted by applicable law, customers are responsible for claims, losses or liabilities resulting from their unlawful use of the services, their unauthorized submission of third-party information or their material breach of these Terms.

This provision does not apply to the extent that a claim or loss results from conduct for which AI AZ TRUST EUROPE is legally responsible.

24. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the services, legal or regulatory requirements, security needs or business operations.

The current version will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised where appropriate.

Where required by applicable law or where changes materially affect an existing contractual relationship, additional notice may be provided.

25. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, subject to any mandatory provisions of applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded or varied by agreement.

26. Jurisdiction

Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction rules under applicable law, disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the services shall be submitted to the competent courts of Greece.

27. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

28. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly agreed in connection with a specific service or engagement, form the applicable terms governing use of the services.

Where a separate written agreement expressly conflicts with these Terms, the terms of that written agreement will prevail to the extent of the conflict.

29. Contact

Questions concerning these Terms or the services may be submitted through the Contact form available on the AI AZ TRUST EUROPE website.
